Where is the l❤️ve

 Where is the love? Please tell me where did it go, we only have one life so we need to use it not hating each other. We just have to be friend with all people especially other religions. If we can get along then we can live a happy life because we have only got one world.

Description - We were learning to write a quick write from a song called where is the lie by the black eyed peas.

Reflection - this was very hard but i didn't get many ideas down but i gave it my best shot.

 I stumbled up the steeps ready to go.
 I sat down waiting till the last person was off.
I let go, I zoomed down the black watery surface.
And splashed in the puddle like a huge boulder sliding down.
“I want another turn”, I said and raced back to the top to have another go.

 WALT - Write a descriptive recount about senior camp.

Camp Woodend is the best.All the activities we did and all the fun we had. I tightened my safety harness and slid on the helmet ready to climb. I stood in front of the third wall ready so I climbed.

 I did very well until.The wall went outwards I was scared out of my life I couldn't do it but my team cheered me on so I continued I made it I can’t believe I made it I touched the pole and called down to my team “ready” I yelled “yes” I heard all three say so I let go and they lowered me down.

 This achievement made me feel that I could accomplish anything but first I had to wait till my arms are ready because they were aching.

Description - When we went to camp we did all kinds of activities and this is one of them I did. 

Reflection - camp was a very fun experience that I think others should try.

Reflection- it was really hard specially with Caleb being an idea and placing smiley faces.

Blue Pill Adventure

Blue Pill Adventure 

 Bump bump went my heart as I slowly opened my eyes last thing I remembered was picking up rubbish then tripping over a swallowing a blue bean before I was knocked out. I Looked up to a two slimy blue eyes looking back at me it was slime like in Minecraft but blue and not square. “Are you okay”the slimy creature said “you have been out for a while” “WHAT!” I said in panic “why did they just leave me here what time is it” I looked at my watch and it read “8 o’clock AT NIGHT they left me here for 8 and a half hours”. The slime creature looked at me and said “that is why i'm here and you have to find out what had happened to them” “okay I better start looking for clues maybe i should see if my parents are home” I said scared “oh yeah I forgot the pill you ate when you fell and got knocked out” “PILL” I said in surprise “yes that was a blue pill to give any human superpowers for 24 hour so you only have 11 and a half hours” ‘What are the powers” “the powers are to fly,swim and teleport to any areas while being impervious to any physical damage” “WHAT” I was so amazed that I tried to test it by teleporting to the class room.”it worked it worked” so then I started to be serious and teleported home to see if I could find any clue, in fact there was a clue at the gate “oil Spill” I said then I decided to follow them. I lifted of and flow to where they ended by the mall I searched the mall finding that it was completely ransacked but were where my parents then all of a sudden I heard voices so I listened to the conversation “where could that last human be” “I don't know but I think we should start heading back to big boss” “okay let's go” I followed the back to a the foster park and then they knocked on the grass and a door lifted and they walked in so I followed they turned into a room so I started snooping around for my parents. After awhile I found a room with a metal sliding door so I teleported in and sore everyone in tubes so I started opening them then someone came in so I told my parents to help the rest of the people out of the tubes and then I teleported back to the entrance of the base and sore him getting away on a jet ski going through the sewers so I teleported after him but I was to late he got on a spaceship and flew into space. Suddenly I felt all wheezy and started glowing I sore a light coming down the tunnel then blanked out, I woke up better in the hospital but the pill had ran out from that adventure but I don't know if it was a dream or not so I didn’t ask just in case they fort I was crazy.

Description- there was a screen shot that miss lee took so that we know what the Maori 

 names for the animals are then we hid all the animal.

Reflection- Doing this was really fun and is really good to learn more about How to say different animals in Maori.

“Blop blop” went my tears hitting the cold hard wooden floor, I was in a pitch black room the lights were flickering. My mum was going out, “ding-dong”, “oh know that the baby sitter”. I jump to the door click there's know way i'm going out there not as long as she's here. I sat in the corner next to a crack in the floor I looked down to see a cloaked man with a long stick with a sharp stone on  the end. After thinking I realised who it was I boarded up the door this was the end.

The Beast Of The Haunted School 

The floorboards creaked as I slowly eased closer to the door at the other side of the hallway. There were blood picking Hooke's were bags were hung up by children rushing into school. The floors were wet and soggy like a big beast drooled on it. I could hear birds flapping in the bushes it sounded like a horror movie. I Finally reached the door, I slowly creaked it open to see a beast about two foot tall with fur all around the body like a big mutated dog. As soon as I looked in its big black bleeding eyes I slammed the door and raced back down the hall suddenly I trip and fell. My leg was wrapped in sharp prickly wires. The beast slashed through the door down and race up to me this was the end of my life.

St Bernadettes (Information report)

WALT-Write an Information Report

St Bernadette

St Bernadette's is a lovely school for all catholic children from around the area to attend to and learn about God and what Jesus’ would do. This year the classes are,Room 1 Year 1-2,Room 2 Year 3, Room 5 Year 4, Room 4 Year 4-5, Room 8/3 Year 6-7 and Room 6 Year 7-8. Outside at lunchtime is a great time for children to play and have fun .There are three playgrounds, they are called the adventure playground,the senior playground and the junior playground.The ball bin has all types of balls to play with and the areas to play with them is the netball court, the basketball court,the soccer field and under the shade that are only up in the summer. At lunch and morning tea two teachers go out on guty and the rest relax and have a cup of coffee in the staff room. In there they can talk with other teachers about their day or what their going to do after school or in the weekend. The amazing principal of the school is Mr Norman.His job is to make sure that all the supplies are there needed for the school to function and ready for the teacher to use. He also has to make sure that val the children are behaving nicely. I hope you take your children to our school to learn while you work. If not get a permission form from your priest to start now at St Bernadette school,Hornby.

Reflection-it was easy after i got the facts down on the idea.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

WALT - read a story then make a portfolio so that the reader wont have to read the whole story
 Description - we had to read the book and then make a portfolio so that the reader can read the summaries and see all the characters and the graph plot of the whole story and then it will take less time for them to read.
 Reflection - what i found easy was finding out the characters and what i found hard was writing the summaries.

 Why Is Matariki So Important? 

Matariki is important because it is the start of the Maori new year. Firstly it is important because when Matariki happens it tells us that the Maori new year has just begun and that we have to plant crops and come together to eat last years. Secondly telling stories is a good time to spend with family members and talk about those who died. Another reason is that Matariki brings us closer to nature as we watch the stars. Lastly when it is Matariki the adults tell their children about the gifts of the seven sisters and what their lesson in life is. Matariki is good for farmers because they know when to plant crops and when the Maori new year has come.

 Description - we had to read a book about Matariki and then we had to wright in our word why Matariki is so important.

 Reflection - the easy part was listening and taking in the information so that i can wright about it. The hard part was to put the writing into my own words.

3/7/18 School Time of Room 8

WALT - remember what we are doing at school so that we will be ready for the day
 Description - we are learning to know what we are doing at school every day so we made a google sheet about what we do ate school.
 Reflection - it was easy to find out what comes next on the day but the hard part was finding out what time we did it.

Class Camp Budget Plan

WALT-to create a budget for the class camp
 Description- we had choose a place for on of the younger classes to go to for camp and then find out how much it would cost for all them to be doing activities and were they will sleep and what they will eat.
 Reflection- the easy part was writing how much it would cost for one day per child but the hard part was finding how much every thing cost all together per one person.

Angles Poster

WALT- Identify and describe different shapes and their role in rotation
 description- we were learning different angle and the we had to make a poster so hat other can know as well.
 Reflection- the easy part was crating the angles and the hard part was remembering what the angle were.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Walt- identify key information about Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
 Description- we were learning to read information then to wright it out as a slide show so who ever is reading can take in that information easier
 Reflection- the easy part was making the slid show look interesting and cool but the hard part was getting the information then writing it in our own words.

Starry Night

WALT-Recreate a famous artist's painting, will incorporating New Zealand themes and celebrations.


Description- we had to repaint a painting of starry night painted by Vincent Van Gogh with koru and the stars of Matariki. after we had finished repainting starry night we had to come up with a poem describing the stars that we see in the sky every night.

Reflection-What i found easy was repainting starry night with koru's and the Matariki stars. What i found difficult was writing the poem because you have to have descriptive words and you can't use your imagination that much.

 we learnt to express our felling in another language and then we made an animation of people or animals speaking to each other in this language about how they feel.

My time has come it's time to crawl into the real world I had just turned thirteen I was all alone I crawled out of the den to see big eyes and massive hands it was weird I crawled closer to see what it was. I turned my head left and right I was in the clear I slowly walked towards the thing, “meow” there was a furry beast standing in front of me staring at something. It was me I curled up into a ball, was this the end something picked me up, I opened my eyes and sore that the thing was a human that my mum told stories about. He sat me down next to a bowl of cookies I started chomping away this was the start of a new life.

Description: We were given a picture and we had to wright a story in a suntan amount of time.

Reflection: What i found easy was writing the story with interesting words.
What i found hard was thinking of what the moral of the story was.

Duck Named Buck

WALT - write a limerick on a topic of our choice

Description : We wrote limericks with a teacher and I came up with this a duck named buck

Reflection : what I found hard was coming up with what to do it about which turned out to be a duck.
What i found easy was writing the limerick about the duck.
