My name is Mikey. I'm a part of the Summer Learning Journey team this year and I'll be commenting on some of your blog posts this summer. I see that you've already completed the first three teaser week activities - well done! :) I'm so pleased that you've decided to take part in the programme.
I really like the way you've decided to display your information about Lorde. Well done for remembering to attribute your image as well. I didn't realise that one of Lorde's songs was used in the Hunger Games movies. That's very cool. Are you a fan of Lorde's music? What's your favourite song of her's?
Congratulations again on completing your first Summer Learning Journey activity. I do hope you'll continue to do the programme throughout the summer break - remember that the programme officially starts next Monday (December 16th) so make sure you check out the Week 1 activities and keep blogging :)
I look forward to reading more posts from you soon. Until then, have a great afternoon!
Thank you for the commenting on my blog,Yes I am a fan of Lordes music she is an amazing singer. my favourite song of hers is the one in the Hunger Games called The Yellow Flicker Beat. In school I am in the quire because I want to be like my mum who is an amazing singer in my a pinion.
I Hope you see my posts over the holidays and that you have a great week.
You're very welcome. I love reading all of the Summer Learning Journey posts; each one is so different and cleverly made!
I don't know if I've heard that song. I'll have to check it out later today and let you know what I think about it. :)
The school choir? Wow, that's so cool! Are there any songs that you really love to sing? It must be very handy having a mum who can sing as well - she'll be able to help you with your singing.
I hope to see more posts from you too, Samuel. I'll be looking out for them. :)
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say 3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Note: only a member of this blog may post a comment.
Kia ora Samuel!
